Softball season is in full swing, and it is bringing back memories of Alyssa’s senior Sportrait session last year. Alyssa, her mom and myself met at the Eureka High softball field and had fun creating some memories together. We got a great combination of some more natural poses as well as some more dramatic off camera flash images.
I arrived at Miranda’s Rescue in Fortuna, California at 3:30 to begin shooting the details and getting ready shots for Tyler and Mackenzie’s night time wedding. I spent about an hour bouncing back and forth between Mackenzie getting ready with her girls and Tyler hanging with the boys. Mackenzie’s Mom Kathy, the wedding coordinator for this wedding was very organized. The entire wedding party was ready to go for formal pictures right on time which makes the whole day flow much smoother! We snapped some fun shots with Tyler and his groomsmen and then shot Mackenzie and her bridal party separately. Tyler and Mackenzie had opted not to do a “first look”, but Mackenzie did a first look with her dad and it was beautiful!
The ceremony was slated to start at 6:30 pm. There was a light haze in their air from the California wildfires, but that did not put a damper on their evening. The ceremony went smoothly and they added a special touch as their dog was the ring bearer. The look on Tyler’s face as he watched Mackenzie walk down the aisle was priceless.
They celebrated with friends and family under the twinkle lights and there were even a a few fireworks.
Anthony and Jillian married on a cool overcast day at Baywood Golf Course. Friends and family traveled from all over as far away a Louisiana. A great time was had by all. There were funny faces, plenty of tears, and some pretty amazing dance moves out on the dance floor. Vendor team

Everyone knows that buying a home is a huge accomplishment, Anthony figured out a way to make it even better by proposing to Jillian on the front porch of their new home while she held those new keys in her hand.
Fast forward to last October when we headed to College Cove in Trinidad to shoot their engagement photos. The foggy day helped create a dreamy, romantic session.
Humboldt beaches can be chilly, and Anthony and Jillian spent some time snuggling up to keep each other warm.
For their wedding day in one month, this beautiful couple is heading to Baywood Golf Course. I have no doubts that it’s going to be a beautiful day full of sunshine, love and happiness!
